Call Center Representative

Position Description:
  • Gives prompt, efficient and accurate information in the processing of all transactions and inquiries by phone
  • Answers member inquiries using the proper telephone techniques that are set by the department manager
  • Actively promotes all products and services Point Breeze Credit Union currently offers using cross-selling techniques
  • Performs as a team player and solicits input to improve departmental flow
  • Adheres to all credit union compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) guidelines and regulations as explained and appropriate for the position
  • Performs other duties as assigned
 Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of experience in a customer service/call center atmosphere
  • Bilingual a plus
  • General knowledge of banking/credit union policies and procedures
  • Basic understanding of loans, payment processes and interest rates
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • A positive, enthusiastic and friendly attitude
  • PC proficiency
