Preparation Checklist

To help you stay informed and prepare for the upgrade, we encourage you to take a few simple steps now.
 
  • Perform a data file backup and a final transaction download for Quicken or QuickBooks prior to July 27, if applicable.
  • Schedule any new recurring or one-time future dated transfers before July 27 or after July 28. Existing scheduled recurring and future-dated transfers will happen as scheduled.
  • Schedule any new online bill payments before July 27 or after July 28. Existing scheduled bill payments will happen as scheduled.
  • Plan ahead for any specific digital banking needs you may have and take care of those before July 27 or after July 28.
  • If you have a joint owner on your account(s), be sure to share this information with them.
  • Confirm your contact information is current. Log in to online banking or the mobile app and review “My profile” to confirm that your phone number, mailing address, and email address are up to date, so you receive important upgrade communications.
  • Watch for emails and other updates from us. We will share important information before the upgrade, including key dates, reminders, and what to expect.

What You Need To Know For A Smooth Transition

As we upgrade our digital banking experience, some features will look and function a little differently. To ensure a smooth transition, the following offers a quick reference to the most important updates. For key dates and times, refer to the Impacted Services & Dates To Remember table above.

Your username will remain the same. The first time you log in after the upgrade, you’ll verify your identity and create a new password.

Note: The URL for online access will change. For the best experience, access digital banking from PBCU.com and delete any previously stored bookmarks.

Joint account owners will be able to register and create their own secure login, so there’s no need to share access with the primary account owner. You’ll have full visibility of all the accounts you’re connected to, along with the ability to manage and transact on your own.

Account history and transaction details will transition to the upgraded experience.

External transfers, also known as Pay Yourself transfers, will be unavailable beginning at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 24, until the upgrade is complete on July 28. Existing recurring and future-dated external transfers will carry over and can be managed in the upgraded experience.

Note: External transfers scheduled for July 27 will process on July 28. If you need a transfer to occur sooner, please log in and reschedule it to be sent before July 24.

Internal transfers will be unavailable from 12:00 pm on Monday, July 27, until the upgrade is complete on July 28. Existing scheduled and recurring internal transfers will transition and can continue to be managed in the new experience.

Note: You will not be able to create new or edit existing scheduled or recurring internal transfers beginning at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 24. However, the ability to make one-time instant transfers will remain available through 12:00 pm on July 27.

Pay a Person transfers will be unavailable from 8:00 am on Monday, July 27, until the upgrade is complete on July 28. Existing scheduled and recurring Pay a Person transfers will transition and can continue to be managed in the new experience.

Our mobile app will be unavailable from 12:00 pm on Monday, July 27, until the upgrade is complete on July 28.

New mobile app enrollments will not be available beginning July 21 at 10:00 am. If you are not enrolled by then, you will need to wait and enroll after the upgrade.

After the upgrade, if you already have the Point Breeze app installed, Apple iOS users with auto-updates enabled will receive a prompt to update once the new version becomes available. Android users will need to delete their existing app and download the new version from Google Play.

If you don’t already have the app installed, you can download it from the App Store or Google Play by searching for “Point Breeze Credit Union.”


   

Mobile Deposit will be unavailable from 8:00 am on Monday, July 27, until the upgrade is complete on July 28.

Bill Pay will be unavailable from 8:00 am on Monday, July 27, until the upgrade is complete on July 28. Any future-dated payments established before disablement will be processed without interruption. Existing payees, payment history, and recurring payments will transition to the new experience.

Debit and credit cards are not affected by the digital banking upgrade and will continue to work for purchases and ATM transactions throughout the upgrade.

Card Management within digital banking will be unavailable from 8:00 am on Monday, July 27, until the upgrade is complete on July 28.

You will be able to use Quicken or QuickBooks with the new experience via Express Web Connect. This is the preferred method, and Direct Connect will no longer be an option in the new digital banking experience.

We recommend that you perform a data file backup and a final transaction download prior to July 27.

On or after July 28, you will need to complete the deactivation and reactivation of your digital banking connection to ensure that you get your current Quicken or QuickBooks accounts connected.

With our new Member-to-Member transfer feature, you can securely transfer funds directly within digital banking – no forms required. Simply set up and manage your transfers on your own, anytime. This convenient upgrade replaces the cross-member transfer form, giving you a faster, more streamlined way to send money.
  • Streamlined Direct Deposit: Managing your direct deposit is now more convenient. With our new self-service tool that connects to most major payroll providers, you can enroll or update your direct deposit anytime through digital banking.
  • Self-Service Skip-A-Pay: Eligible borrowers can now take advantage of Skip-A-Pay with added convenience. Our new self-service option allows you to request a loan payment skip directly within digital banking, quickly and on your schedule.
  • Enhanced Card Management: Managing your cards is now easier than ever. Your cards will be preloaded in digital banking for quick and seamless enrollment, so you can start managing them right away. View and manage your cards anytime through digital banking, giving you convenient access and greater control. (Card Management is not supported for Business Debit or Credit Cards.)

No. Your statement preferences, eStatement history, loan notice history, and tax document history will carry over to the upgraded experience.

No. Direct deposits will continue without interruption. After the upgrade, a new self-service direct deposit tool will be available in digital banking and will connect to most major payroll providers.

Yes. Debit and credit cards will continue to work for purchases and ATM transactions throughout the upgrade. Card Management within digital banking will be unavailable during the upgrade and will return with enhanced tools in the new experience.

Yes. Joint account owners will be able to register and create their own secure login, giving them full access to the accounts they are connected to without sharing the primary account owner’s login. They can register at PBCU.com on or after July 28.

No. Existing alerts will not transition to the new experience. After the upgrade, you will need to re-establish any account alerts and push notifications you want to continue receiving.

Yes. Before July 27, we recommend backing up your data file and completing a final transaction download. On or after July 28, you will need to deactivate and reactivate your digital banking connection using Express Web Connect. Direct Connect will no longer be available in the upgraded experience.

Yes. Your data will be transferred safely, and we will continue following standard security protocols to help protect your accounts and financial information. As always, be cautious of unexpected emails, texts, or phone calls asking for personal information. Point Breeze Credit Union will never ask for your username, password, or secure access code.
